Farbsehschwaeche, a project of the Interessenverband der Farbsehschwachen und Farbenblinden e. V. (IFFarb), is now also available in an English-language version. There will be translations of selected articles on the website.
While the primary target audience for Farbsehschwache will remain in Germany and the DACH region, the English-language version of the website will provide relevant content for a larger audience. Some individual articles have already been translated, but the English-language version of the website will not be a direct copy of the German version.
"We have received feedback from users who have requested certain articles in English, and we want to be able to provide that content," said Markus Stahmann, first chairman of IFFarb. "We also welcome suggestions and ideas for English-language content.", Thomas Vogel, second chairman of IFFarb, added.
In addition to translated articles, the English-language version of the website will also include a simulator and other tools to raise visualize color vision deficiency or color blindness for the public.
By launching the English-language version of the website, Farbsehschwache aims to raise awareness of color vision deficiency and color blindness and provide a valuable resource for affected individuals around the world.
The Interessenverband der Farbsehschwachen und Farbenblinden e. V.
